With nothing to give rules on how things should be run and how people should act at particular times and events, the world would be a very violent and hostile environment for both man and any other beings. Man has always wanted to own everything that they set their eyes on and this is dangerous for the environment. This would prove so hard for some individuals to survive. People need to be reminded how they should behave as this make them live with others.
Many scholars believe that before the enactment of laws, man was in a state of living with o laws. People always thought of how they could survive and this meant even going to an extent of destroying others. With their knowledge, some figures in society decided to end the injustice. They decided to create an agreement between the people and created rules on how they should live. To live in harmony, people had to be protected from one another’s hostility. This is believed to be the history of law.
Laws can be said to be restrictive rules that tell people what to do and what not to do. For a law to be followed, it need to be attached to a certain figure that will implement it. Laws advocate for coexistence of individuals. Laws also act as some guide of behavior. Law basically keep people from doing what is wrong. No one should go against any set rules and regulations but if this is the case, the individual has to undergo punishment.
